Spring Break Brings a Change to Meal Distribution, Hotline Operations

With spring break right around the corner for most Cumberland County Schools, meal site and bus delivery schedules will be altered from Friday, April 10, through Monday, April 20.

The following meal site and bus delivery schedule will be followed:

  • C. Wayne Collier Elementary School’s meal site will be closed from Friday, April 10 – Monday, April 20. Meal distribution will resume on Tuesday, April 21.
  • College Lakes Elementary School’s meal site will be closed from Monday, April 13 – Friday, April 17. Meal distribution will resume on Monday, April 20.
  • All other meal sites and bus deliveries http://bit.ly/mealpickup will operate on Friday, April 10 and Tuesday through Thursday during Spring Break (closed only on Monday, April 13 and Friday, April 17). This includes all bus routes.

Changes to district hotlines because of Spring Break are as follows:

[email protected] Hotlines will operate on a normal schedule through Thursday, April 9. Beginning on Friday, April 10, [email protected] hotlines will be closed. Following Spring Break and beginning on Monday, April 20, schools will share office hours, including phone support, with families.

The Student Services Hotline will be closed during the week of Spring Break (April 13-19) and will resume on April 20; however, assistance is just a telephone call away! Parents and students experiencing food insecurity, anxiety, or other issues because of school closure or COVID-19 may access the following community resources FREE of CHARGE:

  • If you are looking for programs or services in your community, please dial 2-1-1 or 1-888-892-1162 or use their online Search Tool.
  • Call the Alliance 24-hour Access and Information Center at 800-510-9132 and a licensed clinician will assist you in finding the right kind of help.
  • SAMHSA’s Disaster Distress Helpline, 1-800-985-5990, provides 24/7, 365-day-a-year crisis counseling and support to people experiencing emotional distress related to a natural or human-caused disaster.
  • National Suicide Prevention Hotline (1-800-273-8255) – The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals.
